Fans compare new trailer for After We Fell to Fifty Shades of Grey

Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford have hearts racing in the racy new teaser trailer for their upcoming movie 'After We Fell' — and the highly-sexualized footage is eliciting comparisons to Fifty Shades of Grey.  
has yet to announce when the third installment of the 'After' franchise will be released, but fans were both titillated and stunned when the streaming network dropped the steamy preview for the new movie based on Anna Todd's romance series.
In the teaser, Fiennes Tiffin and Langford, both 23, reprise their roles as tumultuous lovers Hardin Scott and Tessa Young, and there are plenty of closeups of them succumbing to their carnal desires.

The opening scene shows them delicately touching the skin on their respective bodies and slipping their fingers underneath their clothes. 
'Close your eyes,' Hardin whispers into his phone, presumably speaking to Tessa, whom he's later seen caressing with a melting ice cube.
The teaser is, in fact, a tease, offering only brief glimpses of them in various states of undress, including shots of Tessa's hair being pulled and Hardin's back being scratched.  
The sexy trailer has quickly earned comparisons to the BDSM-heavy Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, which starred Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

A number of people were also delighted to see that the gym and jacuzzi scenes from the book series were featured in the trailer.  
'I'm literally shaking...they included the gym and hot tub scene,' one fan announced.

Hardin and Tessa share obvious similarities with Christian and Anastasia, and the teaser for 'After We Fell' certainly emulates the sizzling sexual tension of its predecessor.  
But off screen, the young stars of the 'After' franchise have more in common with Johnson, who is the daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson.  
Filmmaking is the blood for Fiennes Tiffin, who is the son of film directors George Tiffin and Martha Fiennes and the nephew of acclaimed actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes. 
Meanwhile, Langford's older sister, Katherine, was the breakout star of the Netflix series '13 Reasons Why.'

Hard to miss: Commenters noticed that the teaser for 'After We Fell' emulates the sizzling sexual tension seen in all three Fifty Shades of Grey films 
'After We Fell' picks up after the franchise's second film, 'After We Collided,' and it appears there is trouble in paradise for Hardin in Tessa, who are still trying to make their toxic relationship work. 
It was announced in September 2020 that 'After We Fell' and ‘After Ever Happy,' the fourth movie in the franchise, were in production, with director Castille Landon taking the reins from 'After We Collided' director Roger Kumble. 
In October, Kumble opened up about the free sex porno films scenes in the second film, which was rated R, admitting that some fans didn't think he went far enough. 
'You always walk a fine line and it's true. Like, you get some people on Twitter going, "It wasn't enough." And it's just like, well, I'm not making a porno film, I'm making a movie,' he told . 
'We're sensual, but we're not that. But yeah, it was really fun to play with these characters in this world and I, for one, am thrilled to see what the next director [Landon] brings to it.'
